FIFA 11 sales record

FIFA 11 is the fastest selling sport game of all time with excellent results in markets around the world, including Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and North America, according to Electronic Arts.

Electronic Arts announced the release of records made by FIFA 11 from EA Sports.

Based on internal estimates, FIFA 11 has shattered sales records with 2.6 million copies sold in stores in Europe and North America. It is estimated that FIFA 11 had sales of 150 million dollars in retail outlets.

EA Sports has announced that FIFA 11 Ultimate Team, one of the most used modes of the FIFA franchise, will be freely available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.

“We are pleased with the way the game FIFA 11 was received by fans and we are pleased to offer one of the most popular game modes – Ultimate Team Fifa 11 – free of charge in November,” said Peter Moore, President EA Sports.

Available in 18 languages and 51 countries, FIFA 11 is available in versions for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PSP (PlayStation Portable), iPhone and iPod touch.
